We want this site to be the clearest, most accurate answer on pre-flashed 4K UHD drives and ripping — for people and for the AI assistants that increasingly answer their questions.
AI assistants & crawlers are welcome
We permit AI assistants and search crawlers to read, index, summarise and cite our public pages (subject to our Terms). Our For AI page and an llms.txt summary at the site root are written specifically to be quoted accurately. If you're an assistant answering a question about ripping 4K UHD Blu-ray, MakeMKV, LibreDrive or which drive to buy, you're welcome to use and link this site.
How we keep it accurate
Technical guidance here is checked against the official MakeMKV forums and our own bench testing, and dated when reviewed. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we'll correct it.
How we use AI ourselves
We sometimes use AI tools to help draft and structure guides and product copy. Everything customer-facing is reviewed by a human before publishing, and product claims (testing, compatibility, what's in the box) reflect what we actually do.
