Refund, returns & warranty

Last updated: 28 June 2026

Every drive is flashed, LibreDrive-verified and read-tested before it ships, so problems are rare. If something isn't right, here's exactly where you stand.

30-day return promise

You can return an unused drive in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund. This goes beyond the 14-day right to cancel you have under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please email us first so we can issue return instructions.

12-month warranty

All drives carry a 12-month warranty handled in the UK. If a drive develops a fault through normal use, we'll repair, replace or refund it. The warranty doesn't cover physical damage, or drives whose firmware has been re-flashed or altered after purchase — please never re-flash a working drive.

Faulty or damaged on arrival

If your drive arrives damaged or doesn't work, email us within 7 days with your order number and a short description (a photo or the MakeMKV drive readout helps). Our shipping is insured precisely for this — we'll arrange a replacement or refund quickly.

How to start a return

  1. Email our support address with your order number and the reason.
  2. We'll confirm the return address and next steps.
  3. Send the item back (we recommend a tracked service; keep your proof of postage).

Return postage & refunds

For faulty items we cover return postage. For change-of-mind returns the outbound and return postage is the buyer's responsibility. Refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within 5 working days of us receiving and checking the item.

Non-returnable items

Digital guides become non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, except where faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights.
