Terms of service

Last updated: 28 June 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase from UltraHD Drives. By placing an order you agree to them.

Our products

We sell optical drives that we pre-flash with LibreDrive-compatible firmware and test on real discs, plus related accessories and services. "Pre-flashed" means the drive is ready to be recognised by MakeMKV for reading UHD, Blu-ray, DVD and CD media.

Lawful use

Our drives and the software they work with are sold for lawful purposes — principally backing up discs you legally own, archiving data, and burning blank media. Copyright law on personal copying varies by country and is your responsibility. You agree to use the drive in line with the laws that apply where you live. We don't provide film content of any kind.

Pricing & payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping is calculated and shown at checkout once you select your destination. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders already placed. Discount codes (such as a first-order code) are limited to one use per customer on full-price drives unless stated otherwise.

Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order (with a full refund) if an item is out of stock, mispriced, or we suspect fraud.

Shipping, returns & warranty

See our Shipping policy and Refund, returns & warranty pages, which form part of these terms.

Liability

We don't limit liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for how ripped files are used once they leave our hands.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
